8 Painless and Easy home remedies for Anogenital Warts

Anogenital warts, it is a kind of wart which occurs on vulva, vagina or cervix of women and penis, scrotum, thighs or groin of men. Anogenital warts are also called Venereal warts or Condylomata Acuminata.

They may also grow in mouth or throat of an infected person. Anogenital warts are caused by a virus called Human Papillomavirus(HPV).

Anogenital warts are caused due to sexual contact or having skin-to-skin contact with someone who’s infected during vaginal, anal and oral sex. Anogenital warts are commonly called genital warts

There are more than 120 strains of HPV, but types 6 and 11 are the strains that cause genital warts. They do lead genital warts but don’t usually cause cervical cancer.

Green Tea

Green Tea can be used for the treatment of anogenital warts. It has been found to be more effective against genital warts. People can purchase green tea extract and by adding some drops of coconut oil, apply to warts.


Garlic can be also used as the treatment of anogenital warts. People can bring garlic extract and apply directly to warts. Then after, we have to mix garlic extract and oil and apply on warts.

Tea tree oil

There are so many medicinal herbs which are beneficial for different diseases. Among them, Tea tree oil is one of them which is effective for anogenital warts.

You can use it by mixing a drop of tea tree oil and coconut oil and apply directly to warts. But some people may be allergic to tea tree oil, so test a small amount.

If there is no reaction after 24 hours, it can be used or it is safe to use. Tea tree oil can be irritating or be burning so, it is not effective to use internally inside the mouth or vagina.

Apple cider vinegar

It is also home remedial treatment for genital warts. People can soak a Q-tip, Cotton ball or gauze in apple cider vinegar and apply it to warts. It is used as acidic ingredients to kill off the virus.


Vegetables are more effective or beneficial to the healthy human beings. Likewise, it is effective for genital warts too. People should eat crunchy vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale, which can help clear up genital warts.

Folate and B-12

Genitals warts may increase due to the deficiency of folate and B12.

So, taking a multivitamin or folate and B-12 supplements might help your body fight off an HPV infection and clear up warts.

People having genital warts puts a strain on their body. It may cause difficulty for their body to deal with any other health problems along with warts.
